The curriculum is based on current research and substantial information on how the ADHD brain works, ages and stages of ADHD, situational struggles and reasonable expectations for teaching children with ADHD. This course provides professional educators easy access to materials that are supported by experts in the field of ADHD. These workshops will include activities, handouts and small group interaction. Note: The professional development units can be presented in 1.5, 3 or 6-hour workshops. (Professional Development Credits Available)
Acquire techniques for the professional educators’ parents/caregivers’ discussions.
Understand what specific skills students coping with ADHD need help to develop, and set reasonable expectations for students with ADHD.
Empower teachers with the understanding that ADHD is not a disability, it is a different ability and it is a gateway to the extraordinary brain.
